    Eligibility

    Age & Gender: Applicant’s age must be at least 17 (Seventeen) years. Maximum age: 35 years. Only female candidates are eligible.


    Language: Candidates must be able to read, write and express in Bengali and / or Nepali.


    Minimum Educational Qualification: The candidate must pass (10+2) examination from any recognized Board / Council with atleast 40% marks in aggregate. Candidates passing (10+2) in Vocational Stream must be from Health Care Science, Agriculture and Home Science. ‘Passed’ means passed in both theory and practical as applicable.


    Nationality & Residence: Candidate should be citizen of India. West Bengal Residential / Domicile certificate is essential for admission in GNM Nursing course. Candidate must be a permanent resident of West Bengal uninterruptedly for at least last five years.


    Fitness: All candidates must be medically fit for the course and produce a Medical Fitness certificate
